Alberto Barros Jr., Born in Barranquilla Colombia. Son of music producer and trombonist Alberto Barros Sr. A.B. Junior grew up in a musical and artistic environment. In adolescence A.B. Junior dedicated part of his time to one of his passions, Soccer. After tryouts and training venues in the city of Cali - Colombia, He qualified to be part of the Youth soccer second division Team América de Cali.
Years later would enter the Autonomous University of Cali to study Marketing and International Business. At 20 years of age decided to open horizons and venture to the United States, settling in Miami . Supported by his mother decided to enter the school of audio and sound engineering. With these new skills he was able to compose, produce, sing and record his own tracks.
A.B. Junior starts doing his early work as a Salsa singer, in the salsa group " Los titanes " of his father Alberto Barros, Sr. Here He recorded songs like "Sobredosis" "En Trance" and "Por retenerte " Then his father would call to make Him part of a duo that would make a salsa version tribute to the Argentine duo Pimpinela, along with the beautiful Colombian singer Andrea Santachika . This musical production in Mexico would be nominated as group of the year and achieved first place on radio in Venezuela with the song "Me Hace Falta Una Flor."
In 2010 A. B. Junior Takes his first acting classes and begin planting His first seeds in the world of theater, television and film, Participating in several novelas in Telemundo, Venevision and TV commercials. In 2014 he relocated to the city of Los Angeles to take his acting career to the next level. 3 months later He books his first feature movie, the sci fi thriller "Flight 42" directed by Emile Edwin Smith, playing "Hector".
On November 8th 2014, Alberto became "Mando", the "Los Cheetahs" soccer team Captain, in an unprecedented event, sponsored by Frito Lays, that has been compared to the "Harlem Globetrotters" where Soccer and freestyle is combined with music and theater. The first show "Los Cheetahs vs los Jefes" took place on Alamitos Long Beach CA.
